Robert and Lyngle Lawson welcome you to
Stoner Ridge Farm where breeding, selling, and
training outstanding Rocky Mountain, Kentucky Mountain, and
Mountain Pleasure horses is our business and our passion.
We provide training services year round at our professional
facility. Selective breeding and careful training ensures horses
of top quality that can be appreciated by the novice rider or
the more experienced equestrian. Whether you are planning
to buy, looking for lessons, or need training for your horse,
Stoner Ridge Farm has the facility and knowledge to help obtain
the horse of your dreams.

Robert
Lawson’s Foundation First Mountain Horse Training™ is a
philosophy that has developed during years of experience
training horses. It is a method of communication that
teaches understanding rather than relying on mechanics or fear.
His Foundation First technique combines the mental, emotional,
and physical aspects of his equine companions as horses learn to
trust and respect their handlers. A solid foundation
provides the essential support needed for all training
regardless of the breed or discipline. Robert’s Foundation
First Mountain Horse Training™ methods have not only produced
International and World Grand Champions but many versatile trail
companions as well.

Robert
Lawson Featured Clinician **Update**
In the coming weeks Robert Lawson will be a
busier man than usual. Most days are spent at Stoner Ridge Farm starting
young Rocky Mountain horses and helping them become safe, enjoyable mounts
for show or trail riding.
Beginning on September 29th, however,
Robert will be taking his show on the road to the Georgetown Equine Expo

TrainingTM program. Robert will be
working with the colt on Sept. 29 and then again on Oct. 1 continuing
through Oct. 10 from 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. on each date.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn an effective way
to start young horses, you won’t want to miss Robert’s demonstration.
Be sure to stop by the Stoner
Ridge Farm booth #103 after the clinic to ask questions or pick up
additional tips on how to improve your own horse relationships.
Note: The time of the clinic
